Feeding Scheme – Headstart Kids

The HeadStart Kids Programme has facilitated the sponsorship of site-specific nutrition and wellness programmes since early 2017 and seeks to increase donations to achieve a target of delivering 21 nutritional meals a month to a child in need.

We look to build a healthy foundation in communities, this requires a passion for locating and supporting disadvantaged local initiatives aligned with ECD during these challenging and uncertain times.

Our target epicentre is a preschool child, aged six months to five years, of low-income families.

Our deliverable is a comprehensive wellness programme that will contribute to their emotional, social, health, nutritional and psychological needs.

Commitment:

The DOGOOD Target for 2020 is to provide at least 2020 Children with the opportunity for a year’s nutrition: i.e. at a cost of a program for a single child of ±R63.00 per month, this translates to raising a target of R 1,53 Million in the remainder of 2020.
